This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or interact with www.useprojectify.com (the “Site”), purchase products or services from Projectify, use Projectify web apps, download digital products, or otherwise communicate with Projectify.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with Projectify’s Terms & Conditions, available at https://www.useprojectify.com/terms-and-conditions, and any purchase-specific terms that may apply to particular products or services.

  • Account and Web App Information - If you create an account or use a Projectify web app, calculator, dashboard, subscription product, or online tool, we may collect account login information, user profile details, subscription status, usage activity, saved projects, uploaded or entered business information, financial assumptions, model inputs, outputs, reports, settings, and other information you choose to enter into the relevant service.

  • Template, Product and Support Information - If you purchase, download, access or request support for an Excel financial modelling template, spreadsheet, digital file, financial model, calculator, or other digital product, we may collect information relating to your purchase, product access, download activity, support query, product issue, version used, and correspondence with us.

  • AI-Assisted Commentary and Generated Content - Where a Projectify product or web app includes AI-assisted commentary, automated summaries, drafting tools, analysis or similar functionality, we may process the information, assumptions, inputs, outputs, prompts, generated text, and related usage data necessary to provide, improve, secure and monitor that functionality.

  • Marketing Information - If you subscribe to newsletters, download free resources, register interest, accept marketing cookies, or otherwise consent to marketing, we may collect your email address, marketing preferences, interaction with emails, form submissions, and related engagement data.

  • Communications - If you contact us by email or through the Site, we collect the information you choose to provide in your communications.

We ask that you do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential third-party information, regulated data, special category data, or personal data relating to children through the Site, web apps, templates, forms, support channels or AI-assisted tools unless this is necessary, lawful and you have the right to do so.

  • detect fraud, security issues, unauthorised access, misuse, intellectual property infringement and breaches of our Terms & Conditions

  • improve and optimise the Site, products, templates, tools, user experience and customer support

  • analyse usage patterns and marketing effectiveness

  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not use personal information to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing.

We do not sell personal data.

Payment details are processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, Wix Payments or other payment providers. Projectify does not store your full payment card details.

 

Where you purchase Projectify products through third-party marketplaces, platforms or resellers, those third parties may process your personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.

7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom or other jurisdictions.

Where personal data is transferred outside the EU or EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place where required, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions, or equivalent lawful mechanisms.

8. DATA RETENTION

  • account and subscription data may be retained while your account or subscription remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards

  • marketing data may be retained until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, or we no longer require the data for marketing purposes

  • cookie and analytics data may be retained in accordance with the settings and retention periods of the relevant analytics or cookie provider

  • web app project data, user inputs, assumptions, outputs and generated content may be retained for as long as necessary to provide the relevant service, maintain account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve the service, or as otherwise described in the relevant product terms

 

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted, anonymised or retained only where legally necessary.

 

9. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you

  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

  • request deletion of your personal data

  • restrict or object to processing

  • object to processing for direct marketing purposes

  • request data portability

  • withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

10. MARKERING COMMUNICATION

 

Where you have consented to receive marketing communications, or where we are otherwise permitted by law to send them, we may contact you about Projectify products, services, web apps, templates, updates, offers, educational content, blog posts, or related business information.

 

You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us directly at hello@useprojectify.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

 

We do not sell personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

11. CHILDREN'S DATA

 

The Site, products, templates, web apps and services are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

 

If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

You are responsible for all data, assumptions, financial information, personal data, business information and other content you enter into Projectify web apps, calculators, templates, forms, AI-assisted tools or support communications.

You must ensure that you have the right to enter, process and use any such data. You should not enter sensitive, confidential, regulated or third-party data unless you are authorised to do so and have assessed whether the relevant tool or service is suitable for that purpose.

 

Projectify products and web apps are generally intended for business planning, financial modelling, forecasting and educational purposes, not for processing special category personal data, health data, children’s data, payment card data, government identity numbers or other highly sensitive personal information.

14. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The Site, products, emails or web apps may contain links to third-party websites, marketplaces, platforms, tools or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, policies or security of third-party websites or services.

You should review the privacy policies and terms of any third-party websites, marketplaces, payment processors, platforms or service providers before using them or providing personal data to them.
